Parent & Guardian Guidelines

At Sacred Heart Co-Ed School, we believe that a child's success is built through strong collaboration between the school and parents. We request all parents and guardians to support the following guidelines to ensure a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Role of Parents & Guardians

  • Encourage your child to develop regular study habits and complete daily lessons sincerely.
  • While communicating with the Principal, kindly mention the student's name, class, section, and relevant details for smooth coordination.
  • Parents are requested not to enter classrooms during school hours. All academic concerns should be addressed through the Principal's office.
  • Take an active interest in your child's learning and motivate them to ask questions confidently in class.
  • Kindly remember that personal study and self-learning are essential for a child's overall development.

Guidelines for Parents

Academic Support

  • Please check your ward's school diary daily and ensure that all assignments and teacher remarks are acknowledged and signed regularly.
  • Encourage neat handwriting and help maintain books and notebooks properly covered and organized.
  • If you feel your child is not making satisfactory progress, kindly contact the school authorities during prescribed visiting hours.

Communication & Discipline

  • Parents are welcome to share valuable suggestions through the school suggestion office or official communication channels.
  • Students are not permitted to leave school early for family functions once they have reported to school.
  • Any unusual behavioral concerns observed at home should be communicated to the school for timely guidance and support.
  • Parents are requested to avoid criticizing teachers in the presence of children. Genuine concerns may be discussed respectfully with the Principal.

Co-Curricular Development

  • Encourage your child to participate actively in sports, competitions, and co-curricular activities for holistic growth.
  • Students are encouraged to communicate in English within the school campus, and parents are requested to support this practice at home as well.

Together, parents and the school can create a nurturing environment that promotes discipline, confidence, academic excellence, and strong moral values in every child.

Recommendations to Parents

  • Parents/guardians are requested to maintain regular communication with the School and remain informed about their child's academic progress and conduct.
  • Students should be encouraged to attend school regularly and punctually, as consistent attendance is essential for effective learning.
  • Parents are advised to intimate the School in advance in case of any prolonged absence and seek necessary permission from the Principal.
  • It is expected that parents will cooperate with the School authorities in maintaining discipline and upholding the values and rules of the institution.
  • Parents should ensure that all fees and dues are paid on time to avoid inconvenience.
  • Any concerns or grievances should be addressed through proper communication channels with the School Office.
  • Parents/guardians are required to attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) compulsorily, as these interactions are essential for monitoring the academic progress and overall development of their child.
